Cooler FAQ

Muddiez can comfortably fit 24 cans (standard or tall) with between 7-10 pounds of ice (depending on ice particle size) If you want maximum can capacity the Muddiez is capable of holding 30 cans with a layer of ice on top.

Our cooler is very difficult to tip over under normal circumstances, however it can tip in certain situations. Some of these situations include but are not limited to, going over a waterfall, pulling downward on the rope handles, or even being thrown into the water.

In the event of a capsize our water resistant seal is designed to protect the contents of your cooler from the outside elements.

The Muddiez coolers are proudly Made and assembled in the USA. We have an independent rotomolding facility in Bryan, Texas that makes the main hull of the cooler. Assembly of the three parts of the hull takes place at our facility in Franklin, Texas. Final assembly of parts and customization takes place at our facility in College Station, TX.

Incorporating cup holders into the cooler itself would decrease the insulation and increase the profile of the cooler. Instead we decided to start designing utility (and cosmetic) wraps that go around your cooler. One of the utility wraps we are working on will include cup holders. They will be available for purchase once completed on our website.

Our cooler can hold ice for up to three days. Factors such as temperature of the cans, cooler, and how long the cooler is open can vary the ice retention.

For best results we recommend pre-chilling your cooler and drinks beforehand and topping off your ice before your outing.

Our coolers weigh about 15 lbs empty.
